Tube-nosed Birds

The Westland petrel is a relatively large seabird that is endemic to New Zealand. It is the largest Burrowing Petrels still breeding on the New Zealand mainland. 

The Royal albatross family consists of two of the biggest types of albatross in the world; The Southern Royal and the Northern Royal albatross. The only place on the mainland where the Northern Royal breeds is at Taiaroa Head in Dunedin.
